Join us for our potluck celebration of the Year of the Wood Dragon! Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the lunar new year and is one of the most important Shambhala traditions. Based on the traditional Tibetan New Year's celebration of Losar, the day is calculated astrologically according to the Tibetan lunar calendar, and changes every year to coincide with the annual lunar cycles.

Shambhala Day is a time for us to express the wealth and richness of our spiritual and cultural heritage through feasting, conviviality, elegance and pomp. Donations exceeding our rental costs will be our gift to the Shambhala Global Services team for all of their help and support in this past year. Thank you all!

Rejoignez-nous pour notre célébration potluck de L'année du dragon de bois! La Journée Shambhala marque le début de la nouvelle année lunaire et constitue l'une des traditions les plus importantes du tradition Shambhala. Basé sur la célébration traditionnelle du nouvel an tibétain Losar, ce jour est calculé astrologiquement selon le calendrier lunaire tibétain et change chaque année pour coïncider avec les cycles lunaires annuels.

La Journée Shambhala est l'occasion pour nous d'exprimer la richesse de notre héritage spirituel et culturel par la fête, la convivialité, l'élégance et le raffinement. Les dons dépassant nos frais de location seront notre cadeau à l'équipe de Shambhala Global Services pour toute l'aide et le soutien qu'elle nous a apportés au cours de l'année écoulée. Programs without a price are free. For those programs with a price listed, please do not let price be an obstacle. Visit our generosity policy page.

When available as an option, your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price. Any amount offered above the Program Price is considered a charitable donation to the centre, and will be included in a tax receipt issued by email in February of the following year.

For programs that have a register button, it is helpful for us if you can indicate your intention to attend by registering ahead of time. In order to prevent duplicate entries in the Shambhala Database, all registrations are reviewed before you will receive a confirmation email.

Our Refund Policy:  For convenience you can pay online using a credit card via PayPal. If we cancel the program for any reason, we will give you a full refund. We understand that sometimes after you have pre-paid, you might be unable to attend.  We will be happy to refund your payment if you request it at least 24 hours before the program starts.  Due to the difference in PayPal charges for purchases and refunds, we charge a nominal amount of $5 for a refund.
