Dorje Kasung training strengthens our capacity to work with heightened and chaotic situations (in our mind or in our environment), and to find non-aggressive means to solve conflicts.

The motto of the Dorje Kasung is “Victory over War”. War represents the struggle created by the three “poisons” identified by the Buddha: grasping, aggression and ignorance. Victory is acknowledging these poisons and meeting them with insight and loving kindness.

Join this forum for collective explorations of the original Dorje Kasung teachings, which will use audio recordings from Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s early Kasung talks. As we come together to revisit the very seeds of Kasungship, we can reflect on our personal experience of Kasungship, and how this wisdom and skillful means that we have been entrusted with can benefit ours and others’ paths, lives, relationships, and actions—as well as our world and future. 

Led by Lennart Krogoll and Richard Peisinger, this series is a place for Kasung around the world, young and old, senior and new, to come together and share experiences, questions, and inspirations for the way forward.

What to Expect:

  • Join in a brief practice together
  • Listen to brief audio clips from Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s Kasung talks from the 1970s and 80s that highlight a particular topic
  • Hear commentary and review by the guest teachers
  • Move into break-out group discussions
  • Engage in full-group discussions


Prerequisites
Some previous Dorje Kasung experience, Warrior Assembly protector training, or Sun Camp experience. Others with interest in the Dorje Kasung path can submit requests to participate in this course to Lennart Krogoll at [email protected].

Programs without a price are free. For those programs with a price listed, please do not let price be an obstacle. Visit our generosity policy page.

When available as an option, your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price. Any amount offered above the Program Price is considered a charitable donation to the centre, and will be included in a tax receipt issued by email in February of the following year.

Our Refund Policy:  For convenience you can pay online using a credit card via PayPal. If we cancel the program for any reason, we will give you a full refund. We understand that sometimes after you have pre-paid, you might be unable to attend.  We will be happy to refund your payment if you request it at least 24 hours before the program starts.  Due to the difference in PayPal charges for purchases and refunds, we charge a nominal amount of $5 for a refund.
