Public Meditation Sessions

The Ottawa Shambhala Meditation Centre offers drop-in, by-donation public meditation sessions. The silent, sitting meditation is typically hosted by a timekeeper. Wednesdays include evening chants. On Sundays, sitting meditation is interspersed with brief periods of walking meditation.

Join us for an opportunity to slow down, sit down, and relax. Enjoy a cup of tea in our community room before or after your sit.

Public sessions are offered on the following days:

Tuesdays, 7:00 – 7:45pm
Wednesdays, 7:00 – 7:45pm
Sundays, 10:00 – 12:00pm

By donation. No registration necessary. Come for all or for part of the sitting period.
