The Princess Bride

Come to view Rob Reiner’s iconic film then stay for a discussion of Ethan Nichtern’s new book The Dharma of "The Princess Bride".

We will begin the movie early----at 6pm (the movie is 90 minutes long)
Families are welcome to come with children and leave after the movie if you like
Popcorn will be provided.
Then, at approximately 7:45 pm, Loretta Colton will lead a discussion of the book The Dharma of "The Princess Bride".
The book is available at Chapters/Indigo
Humorous yet spiritually rigorous, drawing from pop culture and from personal experience, The Dharma of "The Princess Bride" teaches us how to understand and navigate our most important personal relationships from a twenty-first-century Buddhist perspective.
Friendship. Romance. Family. These are the three areas Ethan Nichtern delves into, taking as departure points the indelible characters-Westley, Fezzik, Vizzini, Count Rugen, Princess Buttercup, and others from Rob Reiner's perennially popular film-as he also draws lessons from his own life and his work as a meditation teacher.
