Did you know that there is a special practice in order to prepare for the New Year? We will gather together as a community for the traditional practice of Neutral Day.

Neutral Day, the day before Shambhala Day, is the time to do intensive cleaning, a time to clean and refresh our centre, shrines and homes in preparation for the New Year. Neutral day falls between Dön season, which is the end of the previous year when it is said that karma and negativity ripens and the New Year when extra care and attention is vital for the fresh start of the New Year.

Join us at the Shambhala Centre for this festive day of cleaning as we clear out the cobwebs and uplift the centre. Cleaning before the New Year is a way of attracting positive drala energy into the environment. It allows us to put energy into uplifting our space to start the year with a sense of freshness, new beginning, openness and possibility.
Doing so as a group adds some extra fun and zeal to the whole experience. Join us!
Come even if your energy is low. Every little bit helps and we have jobs big and small!

Soup will be offered by the centre.   Please register so we know how much to prepare!
