Chères membres et amies, chers membres et amis du Centre Shambhala d’Ottawa,
J’espère que vous êtes tous bien portants et de bonne humeur. Nous nous attendons à passer une année fabuleuse au Centre Shambhala d’Ottawa. Voici donc ce que j’aimerais partager avec vous en ce Nouvel An Shambhala.
La grande nouvelle, bien sûr, est le déménagement. Après plus de deux ans de recherche, nous avons trouvé de nouveaux locaux et nous déménagerons au mois de juin. Comme vous pouvez vous imaginer, c’est un projet énorme dont va profiter grandement toute la communauté shambhalienne de la région d’Ottawa- Gatineau. Nos nouveaux locaux sont présentement totalement vides, ce qui nous donne le précieux avantage d’en faire tout ce que nous désirons. Évidemment, ça exigera d’immenses efforts de la part de toutes les personnes impliquées. Je vous prie de songer à vous joindre à nous dans cet effort d’équipe!
En même temps, des membres, enseignants et bénévoles du Centre continueront de travailler assidûment et avec grand dévouement afin de préserver nos précieux enseignements et programmes. Veuillez consulter notre calendrier en ligne pour trouver les programmes qui vous intéresseront, dont l’Apprentissage Shambhala, les Arts Shambhala, le Qi Gong, les cours de la Voie de Shambhala et bien d’autres encore!
La planification stratégique est un autre de nos projets en cours. Nous sommes déterminés à faire du Centre Shambhala d’Ottawa un lieu de croissance spirituelle pour le présent et pour l’avenir!
Enfin, je tiens à remercier tous ceux et celles qui ont donné leur temps et énergie à faire de notre Centre un endroit extraordinaire. Nous comptons sur votre générosité et votre aide. Sans les membres et amis qui donnent tant d’eux-mêmes pour faire du Centre Shambhala d’Ottawa notre chez-nous spirituel, nous ne saurions réussir. Je remercie chacune et chacun de vous du plus profond de mon cœur. Bonne nouvelle année!

Dear Members and Friends of the Ottawa Shambhala Centre:
I hope this finds everyone well and happy. We are looking forward to a great year at the Ottawa Shambhala Centre. Here are a few things I would like to share with you as we start the Shambhala New Year.
The big news, of course, is that we are moving. After looking for more than two years, we have found our new location, and will be moving in June. As you can imagine, this is an enormous project that will profoundly benefit the entire Shambhala Community in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Our new space is currently gutted, and so we have the precious opportunity to make it everything we would like it to be, but of course this will take enormous effort from everyone involved. Please consider joining us in this collaborative effort.
While all this is going on, our members, teachers and volunteers will continue to work diligently and with great devotion to preserve and care for the precious teachings and programs. Please check out our online calendar for programs that will interest you, including Shambhala Training, Shambhala Art, Qi Gong, Way of Shambhala classes, and much, much more.
Another on-going project is the work on our strategic planning. We are committed to making the Ottawa Shambhala Centre a place for spiritual growth now and into the future.
Lastly, I want to thank everyone who contributed their time and resources toward making our Centre great. We rely on your generosity and support. We couldn’t do it without our members and friends who give so much of themselves toward making the Ottawa Shambhala Centre our spiritual home. From the bottom of my heart, I thank each and every one of you. Cheerful New Year!
