Shambhala Sadhana Practice

February 22nd (2016)

Date details +

This practice is open to all members of the Ottawa Shambhala Centre.

The Full Moon monthly Shambhala Sadhana practice is a time to gather as a community throughout Shambhala. These practices are open to every member of the Shambhala Centre, even those of us who have not attended Enlightened Society Assembly and who do not hold this practice in daily life. (Normally the Shambhala Sadhana is restricted to people who have completed prerequisites)

We will be joining the global community in this monthly practice. These will be opportunities for us to meet, practice together, and have conversation around themes of basic goodness and wholesome society. The intention is to foster experiences of basic goodness personally and societally, and to further bind us as a wholesome community.

Most of these monthly Shambhala Sadhana gatherings will consist of practice, discussion, and informal receptions without feast practice. They will be held as near as possible to each full moon; each will be hosted by a senior teacher in the community and facilitated by a Shambhala Council member with a team of people excited to share food and discussion with the community.
