AT HOME IN THE WORLD: THE FOUR DIGNITIES

September 18 - 20

With Acharya Richard John

The Four Dignities were first taught in the West by Ven. Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Drawn from the shaman tradition of ancient Tibet, they are a cornerstone of the Shambhala teachings on basic goodness and the view of enlightened society.

Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche teaches how these “four types of confidence” guide the warrior’s daily experience and ultimate realization. They also provide the foundation for all aspects of awake human society, from teaching our children, establishing household sanity and inspiring creativity, to a vision of compassionate power in government and business.

This weekend program is suitable for all new and senior practitioners, and will include talks by the director, meditation instructions, and open discussion. The only pre-requisite is that participants have already received meditation instruction at a Shambhala Centre.

The program begins with a talk on Friday, September 18 at 7pm, registration will start at 6:30pm and the program ends on Sunday September 20 at around 1pm.

Prerequisite: Open the public

Cost: 225$
